Panicbox

We were blue-eyed, but so tight,

We got married in the middle of the night

And I still remember the way you looked at me

You said hey babe , we can find any key

To any lock, any broken string

Any reason and forever to anything

But when I look back now, I guess we forgot

To get ourselves out of the panicbox

I don’t know what matters to me anymore

We don’t fight, like we used to before

It’s the weakness in me, that’s leavin’ me blind

And the scars you left behind

Share what can be shared

We had that little moment when none of us was scared

Maybe I should’ve stayed, but I never knew how to

Make you love me just as much as I loved you

Now I’m stuck and its pathetic I know

But somewhere back in my heart I just can’t let you go

I gave all I had to give, but I guess I forgot

To get myself out of the panicbox

I don’t know what matters to me anymore

We don’t fight, like we used to before

It’s the weakness in me, that’s leavin’ me blind

And the scars you left behind
